A Charter Ordinance to correct incorrectly numbered Charter Ordinances previously passed by the City of Perry Kansas.

Section 1. The City of Perry, Kansas, has recognized that the five previously passed Charter Ordinances were incorrectly numbered and thus not listed in chronological order.

Section 2. The governing body further recognizes that in order to amend a Charter Ordinance the City must do so by Charter Ordinance.

Section 3. As such the following Charter Ordinances are amended only so far as to change the number of the Charter Ordinance to correctly present them in chronological order:

Charter Ordinance 657, passed on May 4, 1994, is hereby amended to Charter Ordinance 3.

Charter Ordinance 3, passed on June 2, 2004, is hereby amended to Charter Ordinance 4.

Charter Ordinance 773, passed on November 3, 2010, is hereby amended to Charter Ordinance 5.

Charter Ordinance 784, passed on September 11, 2013, is hereby amended to Charter Ordinance 6.

Charter Ordinance 785, passed on December 11, 2013, is hereby amended to Charter Ordinance 7.
